CAP Cyber Event at the United States Air Force Academy
CAP Cyber Programs in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Region will be hosting an in-residence cyber program at the United States Air Force Academy the week of 13 to 18 June 2022. This program is limited to 20 cadets with a cost per cadet of $225.00.
The prerequisites for this program are at least two years as a CyberPatriot competitor (in any division including Middle School) with at least one year as a competitor in the Platinum Tier. If you were slotted for the Cyberspace Operations Fundamentals Course or the Cyberspace Networking Course in Texas or Virginia for 2022, you are not eligible for this course in 2022. Additional pre-attendance course material will be provided to the cadets accepted to this activity. Completion of these items is highly encouraged.
This will be the inaugural year of the new Cyberspace Advanced Administration Course. During the week, you will learn about application stacks (LAMP stack with WordPress), Domain Controllers and distributed security policies and configuring an email server with all the necessary protocols and programs.
Lodging will be at the Academy Prep School dorm with two cadets per dorm room. Meals will be at Mitchell Hall which is the dining facility for the USAFA cadets.
