Air Force Association (AFA) Cyber Camp Registration

March 16, 2021

The AFA CyberCamps held during the summer introduce students to cyber security concepts and prepare them for the CyberPatriot competition. The camp is designed around a four hour day with lecture material, hands-on lab learning, and ends the week with a mini competition. Registration is now open for any units who would like to host AFA cyber camp(s) this coming summer! The individual who will be coordinating the camp(s) for the unit should be the one to register. Standard and advanced curriculum options are available for specific weeks in June and July - free for CAP units! The standard camp is for those who do not have experience in CyberPatriot and the advanced camp is for anyone who has previously participated in CyberPatriot. The AFA has also approved participation of non-CAP members in the NHQ-sponsored CyberCamps which may be used for STEM outreach and for informing more people about cyber security and CAP. “CAP is expanding to five weeks of sponsored CyberCamps this summer, due to the tremendous success of the CyberCamps last summer. With the option to now include non-CAP members at the CyberCamps, we have an awesome opportunity for STEM outreach to the community,” noted Lt. Col. Paul Creed III, National Cyber Mission Deputy for Education & Awareness. NOTE: CAP units MUST use this registration provided by CAP unless the unit wants to pay for the camp. Visit this page for full details and to register.
